6 Best Round Trampolines (Budget-Friendly and Premium)

Round trampolines are the most common type of trampoline shape on the market.

With so many options, you must know exactly what you’re looking for to find the best round trampoline for your family.

We’ve been a trampoline manufacturer for over 20 years and will use our platform to give an objective analysis of which models stand above the competition to help you make an informed decision.

Let’s get right to it!

The Best Round Trampolines to Buy This Year

For this list, we will cover two different categories based on budget and long-term jumping goals.

We will list a total of six round trampolines, three of them being budget-friendly options (under $1,000) for short-term, recreational jumping. You can think of this category as kids or adults who want to jump for about 1-3 years.

The next three round trampolines will be long-term options for jumping enthusiasts, athletes or adults who want to use the trampoline for 3-10+ years.

We’ll start with the budget-friendly trampolines.

Budget-Friendly Round Trampolines for Short-Term Jumping

One of the key advantages of round trampolines is they are great for beginners since they naturally draw jumpers to the center of the mat.

These three outdoor trampolines would be best for those beginning their jumping journey, particularly ages 6-10

If you’re looking for a round trampoline for long-term use, you will want to scroll to the next section, where we cover longer-lasting round trampoline models.

*This list will be ordered from least to most expensive in each category.

Pros:

  • One of the most affordable 10 ft round trampolines you will find.

  • The Springsafe® Enclosure keeps jumpers safe by separating the jumper from the springs and frame.
  • Powder-coated, galvanised steel frame for year-round durability.

  • The unique enclosure cap design allows for easy addition of various accessories, enabling customisation as your child grows.

Cons:

  • Specific details about the warranty period for different components are not clearly stated, which may be a consideration for long-term investment.

  • You will likely need to anchor the trampoline during wind or severe storms to keep it in place.

  • The springs take off roughly 2 ft of jumping space, so it’s more like an 8 ft trampoline in jumping room.

Cost: $549

Pros:

  • With a 14ft diameter, it offers ample jumping space, making it suitable for multiple users and various activities.

  • Features a heavy-duty black steel frame, UV-stabilised and tear-resistant padding, and high-quality springs for enhanced bounce and longevity

  • Equipped with an inner safety net that separates the jumping area from the springs, reducing the risk of injuries.

Cons:

  • Some users have found the assembly process to be time-consuming and may require multiple people.

  • Offers a 1-year warranty, which might be shorter compared to other brands that provide extended warranties on parts and frame.

  • While it includes a ladder and shoe storage compartment, accessories like the basketball set or shade cover need to be purchased separately.

Premium Round Trampolines for Long-Term Jumping

Just like the previous category, these premium trampolines would also be ideal for beginner jumpers.

The difference is these round trampolines are built to last longer and grow with your family. The caveat is they will cost more than the budget-friendly options.

These models are best for young kids with long-term jumping goals, older kids, teenagers and adults.

Pros:

  • High-quality frame (10-year warranty), mat and springs (both covered for five years).

  • The weave of the net is made so hands or toes don’t easily get trapped within the holes of the net.

  • The metal components undergo a six-layer rust-proofing process, which is more than most spring trampolines.

  • Stylish green-and-black color scheme.

  • Designed with no bolts or welds, which should make it easier to assemble than other $1,000+ spring trampolines.

Cons:

  • Springs are only 7.1 inches, which is lower than other premium spring trampolines (spring size can be an indicator of bounce quality).

  • The enclosure net, spring padding and poles are only warranted for one year, which is usually how long you can expect these components to last on this trampoline before needing to order replacement parts.

  • Equivalent to a 10 ft trampoline in jumping space due to the springs taking off around 2 ft.

  • The netting and the mat are separate entities, which can cause gaps that expose the springs and a potential falling area.

  • Even though the metal poles are slightly curved, they still are stationary and could cause injury if enough force is applied to the net by the jumper.

  • 10-year warranty on all parts (only trampoline to offer complete coverage of 10 years). Many families go the full 10 years without needing to buy major replacement parts.

  • The bounce of a Springfree is softer and more forgiving than a spring-based bounce while achieving similar heights.

  • Holds up to 700kgs of total weight (100kgs recommended per jumper).

  • Key components are galvanised and properly UV-treated to last in all climates, including hot, wet and windy regions.
