What are the Black Friday Deals for 2021?
min read
With Christmas on the horizon, the big sales events of November should definitely be marked in your calendar.
Black Friday has fast become a staple in the online shopping world and this year is set to be one of the biggest we've seen yet.
Black Friday is on November 27 this year. Not sure where to start? Fail to prepare, prepare to fail is a pretty decent mantra to follow when it comes to Black Friday. It’s all about knowing what you want and where to look. To help you get your wish list together we'd recommend conducting your research ahead of time.
Now that Black Friday has been a retail event in Australia for a few years now, we have a fair idea of who is likely to bring out offers and there are some predictions out as to what the offers will be. Here are some of the more popular stores and predictions.
We will keep updating the deals as we find out about them, so make sure you keep checking back in!
Springfree
We can’t start a list like this without first including ourselves! We love a Black Friday sale at Springfree and this year we’re pretty excited about the savings you will enjoy! Want to be the first to know our Black Friday offer? Sign up here to get exclusive early access!
Amazon
Amazon is continually one of the hottest retailers to shop during both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We predict that this year, like last year, Amazon will be one of the best retailers to shop for big tech items. This list includes televisions, video game consoles, cameras and computers. It seems like a given that Amazon will have tremendous discounts on 4K televisions this year, as their current available selection is already priced extremely low. To coincide with those savings, we predict that Amazon will have great bundles for gaming consoles.
Target
Target will offer fantastic savings on specific hot items to lure consumers away from other retailers during the holiday shopping season. Target have said that they'll be offering Black Friday deals with discounts on Home, Apparel & Accessories, Electronics and more.
Myer
Department store Myer is no stranger to Black Friday. In the past, this store has had some huge Black Friday clearance deals and special offers. We're talking deals on women’s and men’s fashion, offers on special appliances like Dyson products and even deals on beauty. Expect 25-50% off selected items.
Big W
There wasn’t much left off the Black Friday list at Big W. With four days of deals on gaming, electronics and accessories, cameras, mobile phones, home appliances and more. If there is something you’ve got your eye on at Big W, you can feel relatively confident that come Black Friday there’ll be a deal to be had.
David Jones
David Jones had huge savings across top brands last year with ~25% off offered on several products in appliances, bed & bath, dining, kitchen + cookware, audio + tech, luggage, Christmas ornaments and large appliances. Expect 30% off selected items.
eBay
eBay is always a staple on the Black Friday list and is a good one to keep an eye on if there is something you’re keen on.
Some of the other retailers you can expect to see Black Friday deals from include:
-
Catch

Tips and tricks for Black Friday Shopping
Do your research. Many retailers publish their deals before Black Friday, meaning you have time to consider your options and really find the best bargain.
Sign up for Pre Sign Up. If you have your eye on a certain product or brand, some retailers will be offering advance sign-up opportunities so you will be the first to know (and potentially buy) the special offer.
Shop around. You might find a better deal elsewhere. For example, Apple is notorious for offering mediocre Black Friday deals, while other stockists selling new or refurbished Apple products might be offering a better discount.
Make sure the retailer ships to Australia. While a lot of retailers offer great deals here, some of the best deals still come from the US. So, it’s always a good to check if they ship to Australia before you get excited over a deal. That being said, you can now take advantage of Australia Post’s ShopMate service, which provides you with a US postal address to get items shipped to, before delivering them to Australia.
Have fun and don’t stress. While there is many a good deal to be had, if you miss out, you can be sure that with Christmas around the corner, that coveted item will most likely be on sale again pretty soon. So try and have a bit of fun scoping the deals and enjoying the bargains you do snag!
