Anzac Day, April 25th, marks the anniversary of key military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, the pride in the name prevails to this day.

Anzac Day is a wonderful day to reflect and remember. Over the Anzac long weekend check out these family-fun activities.

Attend an Anzac Day service

Dawn services and other Anzac Day events are held throughout New Zealand to remember those who served our country.

Find out where your nearest service is here.

Or you can have your own service at home. Stand At Dawn, an initiative born out of the pandemic, encourages kiwis to stand the end of their driveways on Sunday 25th, a great alternative if you can’t make it to your local dawn service!

These activities will be sure to make this Anzac Day one to remember!
