Sea Shepherd Brisbane’s Ocean Defence Tour Family Fiesta

Sea Shepherd Brisbane’s Ocean Defence Tour has been relentlessly defending the world’s oceans for over 40 years. The oceans are our primary life support, being the source of most of the air we breathe. Three threats have the oceans’ future hanging by a thread – plastic pollution, illegal fishing and climate change. At this fiesta, your family can see and hear firsthand what this movement is doing to tackle these threats around Australia’s coasts and the world.

Parents can unwind at the Pirate’s Bar while the kids are entertained by dedicated Sea Shepherd volunteers. Listen to live music, peruse vegan food stalls, attend an eco-workshop, and let the kids purchase a Sea Shepherd souvenir from one of the market stalls to take home in memory of their educational experience.

Where: Queensland Maritime Museum, South Brisbane
When: Sunday, 27 October 2019
Cost: Free
