BIO

Karen Cockburn began trampolining at the age of 11 and has competed on an International level since the age of 15.  Celebrated as an accomplished athlete, Karen's track record is one of excellence and accomplishment.  She has earned top medals in several National and World Championships in both Women's Trampoline and Synchronized Trampoline.

Since trampoline's recognition as an Olympic sport in 2000, Karen is the only trampoline athlete to have won a medal at every Olympic Games having won Bronze in 2000 in Syndey, Silver in 2004 in Athens and Silver in 2008 in Beijing.  Karen is one of few athletes to have won an Olympic medal in three consecutive Olympic Games.  As a tribute to her success, Karen was selected as a flag bearer for the closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
