Jerry Burrell, President of Impact Entertainment, Inc. and trainer of ACRODUNK is pleased with the safety and appeal the Springfree™ Trampoline adds to their performance.

“The trampoline looks new and fresh, while providing a great performance, which is what ACRODUNK is all about.”

But Mr Burrell has a message for all those keen to try their stunts at home, “Our team has had intensive training and we’re good at what we do, but jump safe on your Springfree Trampoline and leave the stunts to us!  These tricks are not to be performed in your backyard or on the Springfree Trampoline!”

ACRODUNK are now performing at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas with other finalists from America’s Got Talent.  You can follow them on Facebook.

Springfree™ Trampoline welcomes the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trade’s review into trampoline safety.

Virginia Judge has ordered a NSW Product Safety Committee review into the safety of backyard trampolines.

The review will consider the nature of the Australian Trampoline standard which is currently voluntary and making safety enclosures a requirement.

An estimated 9 – 16 thousand Australian children are presented to emergency departments annually from trampoline injuries, meaning this inquiry is critical.

At Springfree™ Trampoline we’ve been working tirelessly for 5 years to make backyards safer. Traditional spring-based trampolines cause a staggering number of injuries.

Children are injured falling into the springs and frame of traditional trampolines, or falling off or into rigid enclosure poles – we have removed these elements completely from our design – effectively removing the risk of equipment induced injuries.

Imagine if a major car manufacturer sold a product to which you could directly attribute at least 9,000 injuries per year? It would be banned no questions asked. We hope this is the first step towards creating a formal mandated trampoline standard in Australia – ensuring consumers are protected from unsafe products.

We spotted this recent post from a “trampoline owner to be” on the Essential Baby Forum and thought that it was a great example of just how passionate Springfree™ Trampoline owners are about their Springfree.

QUESTION:

We are tossing up between the Springfree and the regular run of the mill Big W job.

For those who have a Springfree:

Do you think you have/will get your moneys worth out of it?

Are they as safe as what they proclaim?

Are they easy to install yourself?

ANSWERS:

1: Yes, yes and yes to all!

Very happy and very safe … yes put it up ourselves and probably took an hour or so. I think you can pay extra and have them install it for you.

My DD broke her arm and had to have surgery from falling off one of the normal type tramps. No accidents since we have had the Springfree!

2: Yes Yes and Yes again!!

We won ours and honestly before we had it I would not have spent the money on one when there are the other enclosed style BUT now we have one, there is no way I would consider any other trampoline, if for some reason we needed another, I would not hesitate to purchase a Springfree again.

FANTASTIC and a great place to put crawling bubs while you hang out the laundry LOL

Ours is over 2 years old now and still looks as good as new, still gets jumped on daily and shows no signs of wear and tear.

Can not recommend highly enough.

DO IT you will not regret it one bit.

Oh and they look a hell of a lot nicer too :)

When we talk to new customers about the Springfree™ Trampoline they say, “Ooohh that’s the one with the net around it!”  and yes that is correct. But our FlexiNetTM is completely different from the nets on traditional design trampolines, and it’s important to understand why.

Springfree™ Trampoline’s patented FlexiNet™ enclosure has flexible supports to cushion

jumpers and prevent falls.  Should a jumper fall sideways, the FlexiNet™ will gently and securely catch them, guiding them back to the centre of the mat. The jumper cannot make contact with the flexi rods meaning no hard impact zones.

Traditional Enclosed Trampolines

A brief description of the nets on traditional trampolines – JUST NOT SAFE.

Don’t get us wrong – we mean this is the nicest way possible but it’s important parents are aware of the potential dangers of trampolines.  With over 200,000 children worldwide admitted to hospital each year for trampoline device related injuries, Springfree™ Trampoline is working hard to reduce injury occurrence.

Traditional enclosures on other model trampolines may stop jumpers falling off, but in doing so, either directs them into rigid steel poles or straight down onto the springs and frame.

“TIME OUT” SAYS MUM! – LUCKY CHILDREN THAT MEANS JUMPING ON THE SPRINGFREE™ TRAMPOLINE!!!!

“We have a small back yard and I love that the kids use the Springfree™Trampoline to get rid of excess energy! In fact when my son Jack is being naughty I send him to the Springfree™ Trampoline to jump his sillies out instead of sending him to his room! It diffuses the situation and he’s laughing within minutes.  Jack often flings himself about on it and I don’t have to worry that he is going to fall off and hurt himself.”

No matter what level you are you should always stretch your muscles in order increase your flexibility and then you will get even bigger jumps.

Check out the huge jumps these professional jumpers get in Central Park in America – I Bet they did some serious stretching to achieve the complexity and intricacy of the jumps.

Luckily the Springfree™ Trampoline was created!

When it comes to your children, you will move heaven and earth for their happiness and well-being.  Yet what many parents fail to realise is that in the backyard, a hidden danger exists that hospitalises and can potentially cause serious injury to children – THE EL CHEAPO!

Traditional old-style trampolines cause a shocking 6,000 admissions to Australian hospitals each year, however International studies show only one in ten trampoline injuries result in a logged hospital visit – so statistically over 60,000 Australian children suffer some type of trampoline induced injury each year , the reasons are highlighted below.

Source: (QLD Injury Survey Unit, in Injury Bulletin #58, March 2000, Hockey, R & Miles, L).

Summary of Trampoline Injury Statistics

Cause Percent
Fall off of trampoline 52%
Fall onto the frame or springs 31%
Hit another child on the trampoline 17%

Springfree™ Trampolines have eliminated these risks associated with device related injuries though our unique and AWARD WINNING DESIGN. To ensure your Childs safety when Jumping there really is only one option – Springfree™ Trampoline.

Check out this hilarious story about a lady in NZ trying to get rid of her ElCheapo Trampoline that caused her a lot of heartache… It’s a very smart and witty story that I promise will make you laugh.

Everyone loves to show mum and dad all the tricks they can do on their Springfree™ Trampoline but remember safety comes first!  If you want to try some fancy flips or swanky somersaults please try this under the direction of an experienced gym teacher and in the surrounds of a gymnasium.

But have no fear, Springfree has a number of moves you can try on your Springfree™ Trampoline that are safe, fun and extremely beneficial.

TRY THIS AT HOME!

“GERONIMO”

THE MOVE

Begin jumping, as you jump up in the air, bring your arms in over 1 shoulder, turn your head in that direction and look for a starting point. Did you do a full twist?

CHALLENGE

See how many full twists you can do in row, don’t forget to say Geronimo! Ready, set, GO!

DID YOU KNOW

The word “Geronimo” was first used in 1940 the night before U.S.paratroopers at Fort Benning had their first mass jump. As watched the film ‘Geronimo’ a Private Aubrey Eberhardt announced he would shout the name when he jumped to prove he was not scared. The trend has since caught on elsewhere.

Make sure you upload your Geronimo to our Facebook Fan page!!!
