Fresh Fruit Popsicles: A Tasty Backyard Treat!

There’s nothing more refreshing than a popsicle on a hot summer day. Instead of buying sugary popsicles from the grocery store, why not make your own at home using fresh fruits and juices?! The fruit chunks look awesome once the popsicles are frozen while also tasting really fresh.

Tools:

popsicle mould

cutting board

knife

Ingredients:

1 kiwi

¼ cup blackberries

¼ cup cut strawberries

¼ cup cut grapes

white grape juice

Directions:

Grab a cutting board and chop the kiwi, strawberries and grapes into a desired size for your popsicle mould. Layer the chopped fruit and blackberries into the mould – make sure some of the fruit pieces lay against the sides so that your popsicles have a cool & fruity effect once they’re frozen! Finally, pour white grape juice into each popsicle mould, insert the plastic mould stick, and put your popsicles in the freezer.

And of course, enjoy your popsicles outside with friends, family and your Springfree. :)

Ho-ho-ho Holiday Games for the silly season

When you’re not jumping this festive season,

here are some fun activities that your family can enjoy this Christmas!

Santa Says

How To Play: Played similar to Simon Says. The player up is “Santa”. Player will say “Santa says hop on one foot”. The children will hop on one foot. Player will say “Stop”. The children are to keep hopping on one foot until player says “Santa says stop”. Repeat for additional activities such as take one baby step forward, step backwards, turn around, sit down. Sometimes Santa will say “Santa says” and sometimes he won’t. It’s a fun game to play with young children.

Christmas Memory Game

What you need: 18 items in box

How To Play: Show the items in the box to the children. Remove one or more items out of the box (without children seeing you). Have the children guess what items are missing. For older children put items on large tray or cookie sheet. Cover. Remove cover for 20-30 seconds and then remove tray from room. On your mark, the children are to write down as many items that they can remember from the tray before you yell, “STOP”. Most correct answers wins.

Face the Gingerbread Man

How To Play: By using only their face, the player must move one Gingerbread Man from their forehead to their mouth and see who can do it the quickest.

Pin the nose on Rudolph

What you need: Big picture of Rudolph
Red circle or orange carrot shape for each child, with adhesive on back and their name on the front
A blindfold

How To Play: Blindfold the player, spin ‘em around and let them try to stick the nose where it’s supposed to go. Give a prize for the player that gets the closest.

From all the team at Springfree™ Trampoline, we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a jumpy New Year.

Become The Rodger Federer Of Springfree Trampoline Tennis

Who said that tennis was only to be played on a court! Here at Springfree we have what we call the ‘SPRINGFREE OPEN GRAND JUMP TOURNAMENT’.

With a few words of friendly banter and way too many ‘Come On’s’, we are ready to go. With one person in the Springfree™ Trampoline and one outside running crazily around the Springfree™ trying to return the ball back inside it is great fun for the whole family. It’s much harder than you think and is a fantastic work-out.

You Can Play All Sorts Of Ball Games On Your Springfree Trampoline

We all know jumping can keep kids occupied for hours, but a nice way to add a little extra spice is by introducing some balls into the mix! Here is a Springfree™ Trampoline favourite – POISON BALL!!! Why don’t you give it a go at home!

“POISON RED BALLS” Nelson lasted 60 seconds!

“POISON RED BALLS” Nelson lasted 60 seconds!

Poison Ball

What you need:

2 – 6 soft Air balls all different colours (These are cheap as chips and will provide loads of giggles – not to mention the enormous developmental benefits!)

Soft Air filled balls are the best and safest to use!

Soft Air filled balls are the best and safest to use!

Aim:

The aim is to choose a colour that is the evil Poison ball and at all measures avoid touching this ball whilst jumping. Of course the only safe way is one jumper at time so why not record how long you can jump without touching the Poison Ball and then swap with a friend to see who the best poison ball jumper is!

TOO EASY? Put three of the same colour balls in the Springfree™ Trampoline and you have to avoid all three! Good luck…

One At A Time Is The Only Safe Way!

Your mother probably told you this when you were young, and you’re still hearing it!

But there’s a good reason! No denying kids love to play together; it’s a very natural thing. We’re social creatures after all! However when it comes to jumping on your Springfree Trampoline, one at a time is the ONLY safe way.

Now Springfree don’t mean to sound like the Grinch of playtime but unfortunately 17 % of trampoline related injuries still occur due to the collision of more than one person jumping at a time. At Springfree, YOUR SAFETY is our priority – after all, that’s why we created the Worlds Safest Trampoline!!

A Springfree Sleepout

A Springfree Sleep Out

There are so many other activities you can do on your Springfree – add chalk and it becomes the world’s coolest hugest chalk board, grab your story books and soft toys and it becomes a great quiet place to curl up and read, or our favourite – grab your sleeping bag and do some star gazing or even have a sleep out! There are heaps of safe play activities you can do on your Springfree, just remember that one at a time is the only way to ensure you’re safe!

Why don’t you visit our Facebook Fan Page and tell us what activities you get up to on your Springfree?
