When you start thinking of everything there is to do to get ready for Christmas it’s easy get overwhelmed. Where do you start? The first thing you should do is pull out a pen and notepad and start making that list. Once you’ve completed your list, re-arrange and organize it by priority so you know what to do first. You'll be amazed how much more relaxed you'll feel when you know you've got it all written down. Your mind will be able to relax!

2 - Build your wishlist

If you’ve ever missed out on getting that special gift the kids really wanted, you’ll know what we mean when we say ‘the earlier the better’. Get the kids to write their Christmas wishlists now. And don’t forget to write yours too!

3 - Decoration time!

Dig out your boxes of Christmas supplies and look through what you have. Is there anything missing? Any broken Christmas lights need replacing? Write out a list of what you need before you start decorating.

4 - Stock up on wrapping supplies

You can never have too much wrapping paper! Make sure you’re stocked up with paper, ribbon and tape to make your Christmas wrapping a breeze. Especially for those last-minute gifts you’re wrapping on Christmas Eve. Pro tip: save the newspaper cartoon section. They can double as wrapping paper in a pinch!

5 - Watch your schedule

It’s easy to get overscheduled during the holidays. It will wear you out and you can come out of the holidays feeling grumpy. Remember you can always say no to invitations. And make sure to schedule in some “me” time to relax and energize yourself!

6 - Happy kids = relaxed parents!

Stop that “I’m bored” business before it even starts! Start collecting jars, cardboard, boxes, or other supplies that can add to the ultimate kids craft box.
